22/10/2025 – The Emirate of Dubai is now the expression of a territory full of opportunities and with considerable growth potential, all mainly due to a visionary approach on the part of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
We have been working on the strategic repositioning of Dubai for many years now, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his entourage have laid the foundations for a future of prosperity detached from the primary source which until a few years ago was represented by oil and other underground resources. And to make all this possible, the figures involved in the Emirate's development plan have dedicated their efforts to understanding which direction the modern world is going., made of economics and politics, but also and above all of people.
From this approach was born, for a few years now, the vision of the Dubai Masterplan 2040 ! An ambitious and complex program that makes the Emirate of Dubai an advanced platform for sustainable socio-economic development, not only with regards to the green economy, but also for social welfare and the balance between all the resources at stake.
The Dubai Masterplan 2040 presents 8 strategic objectives to be carried out in parallel:
1. Optimize the use of resources: more efficiently use existing space and infrastructure to support a growing population.
2. Develop vibrant and inclusive communities: improve quality of life by creating healthy communities, inclusive and with high standards of living and improved recreational areas.
3. Doubling green and recreational spaces: increase the size of green spaces and public parks, connecting the city via green corridors to promote sustainable mobility.
4. Provide sustainable mobility: promote flexible and sustainable transport options that reduce environmental impact and improve connectivity.
5. Promote economic activity: stimulate the economy and attract foreign investment in new sectors, also expanding the areas dedicated to tourism and commerce.
6. Improve environmental sustainability: adopt practices for more environmentally friendly urban growth and protect natural areas.
7. Preserve cultural and urban heritage: safeguard Dubai's cultural and architectural heritage to strengthen the sense of identity and belonging.
8. Develop governance and legislation: create a comprehensive governance framework to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of the plan.
Many of these objectives are achieved by putting places and people at the centre, cities and the people who live there, trying to build conditions of well-being and sustainability thanks to which we can develop welfare and offer the new generations a modern and well-thought-out growth paradigm.
Territorial development today is a much more complex and articulated game than the same concept expressed by the terminology. Developing a territory means giving it a key role, make it attractive at 360°, make the new generations want to know a place, visit it, then they appreciate it, decide to have an experience in which to sow knowledge and creativity, In the end, possibly, elect it as your residence and invest in the long term, bringing not only resources, but also and above all mentality, approach, diversity.

The interventions are therefore of a conceptual nature first and then constructive, for example, we work on the development of the model “city 20 minutes“, which allows inhabitants to reach 80% of their daily needs by 20 minutes from home, with thousands of kilometers of new pedestrian and cycle paths to make the city more walkable and cycleable all year round, While – in parallel – we invest in innovative technologies such as autonomous transport and flying taxis and maintain the balance of social proximity with new green corridors to connect communities to workplaces and services.
The Masterplan is firmly based on sustainability and inclusiveness, aims at truly sustainable urban growth and not just construction, which aims to improve the quality of life without compromising the environment and making the city more inclusive and resilient, increasingly essential conditions to guarantee the relationship between attention to growth and respect for the socio-environmental context in which this growth takes place.
And that can only mean one thing, from the point of view of Dubai's positioning strategy on the market of large cosmopolitan cities: the strong characterization to be “the best place to live-produce-invest”.
This is the modern development principle that Dubai has understood it must adopt rather than relying only on the value of assets and resources. The trigger of a virtuous principle of growth and evolution that allows the creation of new value, create an innovative and visionary identity, create opportunities and deliver a legacy to the future, no longer just the heritage that draws on history, but a heritage that looks at the evolution of the human being and his well-being in the frenetic modern world.
The vision of a visionary reality is the prerequisite for moving forward into the future, support growth qualitatively and not just quantitatively, make the most of the potential of technological innovation, live it and breathe it, but do not alienate yourself and become slaves to it.
